Electrocautery

Electrocautery works well to address concerns of moles, skin tags, and warts.  The procedure involves the passage of very high frequency electrical current through tissue to create a desired surgical effect. Specialized "pencils" or electrodes and a generator are used to deliver electrical energy to "cut" tissue and/or coagulate blood.  It is a simple in-office procedure that does not require a lot of time.  Depending on the amount of areas to be treated will determine the length of the procedure.  Most of the time during a patient's visit is spent numbing the areas of treatment, so that the patient may have a pleasant experience.
