Volbella

Volbella is a dermal filler made by Juvéderm that is specifically used to create more definition in the lips and correct fine lines and wrinkles around the lips.

This temporary filler is made of Hyaluronic Acid and does not require a skin test before your injections. The smaller Hylauronic Acid particle size in Volbella allows your cosmetic injector to treat fine lines without getting a full look in these delicate areas.

How long does it last?

What are the side effects of Volbella?

The most common side effects of Volbella are swelling, bruising, tenderness, redness, pain, and the possibility of discomfort and itching. These common side effects are temporary responses that can occur at the treatment site.

When will I see results?

You will notice an immediate improvement in vertical lip lines if those were targeted during treatment. However, it can take between 24 and 48 hours to see the initial results of your non-invasive lip augmentation. The final results of your treatment will not be visible until roughly two weeks after your treatment session.

What is recovery from Volbella like?

Recovery with Volbella is minimal allowing you to return to your usual activities after the procedure. You may experience mild side effects such as redness, tenderness or swelling right after the procedure, but side effects should subside within a couple weeks. Within the first 24 hours after your treatment, it is best to not do extreme exercise and to limit sun exposure.
